About the Journal

The Journal of Law, Emerging Technology, and Information expands what serious legal scholarship can look like by publishing timely and practical work on law, technology, legal information, legal education, law librarianship, and the future of legal practice. JLETI publishes work in fields where important developments move faster than traditional publication timelines allow, creating a home for scholarship and professional work that may not fit neatly within traditional law review structures. The Journal will publish accepted submissions online on a rolling basis, allowing timely work to reach readers when it is most useful. Published works will later be collected into formal issues, and where appropriate, the Journal may also support updated or responsive scholarship in fast-moving areas. But JLETI is more than a journal. Through writing competitions, innovation competitions, fellowships, research grants, the Scholarship Lab, and other programs, JLETI supports a broader ecosystem of scholarship, experimentation, professional development, and public-facing legal innovation.
